Mid Century (1940s-50s) Citron and Metallic Glazed Studio Pottery sectioned dish made out of Indiana red clay by listed artist Hazel Hannell. The vibrancy of the citron yellow juxtaposed with the unusual bronze metallic glaze is stunning, rare, and wonderful. The pinwheel design has three compartments with a twisted knot in the middle. It would be a lovely candy dish or art piece on a coffee table. This piece is an excellent example of mid century modern design.
